Let’s Kill Santa is out today!
Prepare for a very alternative Christmas tale with Let’s Kill Santa!
The fully illustrated comedy festive tale follows the adventures of Flappylabs, an elf who seeks a job at Santa’s renowned workshop, only to discover that things at the North Pole have taken a turn…
A tragedy has befallen St. Nick, and he is nowhere near as jolly as he once was.
And thus, a conspiracy begins, and a slippery slope of murder is slid down.
Until a happy ending.
Suitable for not necessarily all ages, why not use this book to ignite conversations with your children about some of the hard things you’ve been meaning to teach them about:
- Gender norms, and subversion thereof
- University degrees being meaningless
- The difference between murder and conspiracy to commit murder
- Reanimation of the dead
What I’m getting at is that books can be dumb fun and educational. Albeit tenuously so in this case…
Anyway, why not get yourself a copy to bring in the festive season, and stay turned for news of a much more serious / grown-up book to come out next month.
In the meantime, let me leave you with this video, an alternative Christmas carol I put out a few years back.
See you next time!
